In order to effectively organize photography sessions at your studio, you need a clear and precise planning. Some days are dedicated to serving just one client, while others may involve producing content for multiple clients simultaneously.

With Session Client Control, you can specify whether sessions should be single-client or multi-client, allowing flexibility to accommodate various operational requirements.

Session client control

This feature controls whether Sessions should be limited by Client. Navigate to Studio settings -> General settings, scroll down to the Planning section.

Note: You need to have Edit permissions in the General settings section to do this.

  • Single-client Sessions: can only be seen with the appropriate Client access.

  • Multi-client Sessions: this is the default option; once selected, the sessions are visible to all users until production tasks are added, then will be visible based on Client access.

After selecting the value from the dropdown, you can click ‘Save’ to apply the setup.

How it works

Adding Client to a Session

When creating a new Session, you will see the setting to select a specific client for that session. This ensures that only users with access to that specific client can view and interact with the session.

You will then see it from the Session slide-in. If the Session does not contain any production tasks, you can edit the Client-specific setting.

When the Session already has production tasks added, even though the production has not started, you are not allowed to change the Client-specific setting. You can edit it if you remove all of the production tasks from the session.
