Planning Improvements to Streamline Your Work

We’ve introduced a number of enhancements to our Planning module based on feedback from our users. These small but mighty improvements focus on eliminating redundant clicks and optimizing the Planning experience.

Here's a detailed overview of what's new:

Add Saved Views in the Add Production Slide-In

  • You can now save unique filters and columns into a saved view for later when adding production tasks to a Session.

  • Use saved views to quickly and easily bring up search criteria to find tasks that need to be scheduled week after week.

  • Saved views can be shared with the rest of your team, bringing consistency to your Planning process and Producer onboarding.

Define Default Session Start & End Times

  • We’ve adjusted the default Session Start and Session End times based on existing Studio data.

  • When creating a new Session, users can save their preferred Session Start & End time defaults.

  • Saving your most-used Start & End times as a default can help Planning teams populate the weekly Studio schedule more quickly and efficiently.

Audible Scanning Feedback

  • When scanning tasks into a Planned Session, the system will audibly alert the user when tasks have been successfully added to the target Session.

  • During Scanning, an alert will sound for any necessary confirmations or errors, such as an unknown barcode.

  • With these improvements, users will be able to scan more items into the Session with less ambiguity.

Duplicate Session Title Update

  • We've enhanced the session duplication process by automatically updating the duplicated session title.

  • Now, when users duplicate a session, the system will append 'copy' to the session title, making it easier to distinguish between original and duplicated sessions.

Other Improvements

  • We have increased the limit of production items in a planning session from 200 to 1000.

  • Enjoy an updated and more user-friendly UI for editing external post-vendors in settings.

  • General UI polishing in the Editorial module.

  • Enhance security and convenience with the implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) between Gamma and Delta.

Bugs Fixed

  • Gamma: Duplicated data after changing thumbnail size.

  • Gamma: Edit sub-location: The location code field was duplicated.

  • Gamma: Data Source Mapping: Fix an issue with the dropdown being closed when scrolling.

  • Gamma: Display issue in Bulk QC where the sidebar did not show information when canceling the markup modal.

  • Gamma: Unexpected error when toggling Looklet and Orbitvu connect ON/OFF.

  • Gamma: Missing log file when sending files to External Post vendor via Box.com.
