Login via the external browser will be applied on May 09, 2023. And it does not require any setup on your side.
Why are we making this change?
For our desktop applications HUE and Kelvin, we originally chose to have the login flow within the apps. This approach is quick and very convenient for the users, however, it does have some drawbacks for some using Single Sign On, certain network configurations, or larger teams that have certain security protocols in place.
In order to make the setup and use of Hue and Kelvin as easy as possible, we decided to make this change. It will also bring Creative Force in line with other apps within the industry that use your default browser for authentication. As your default browser will already be approved to use CF, and for SSO users, typically connected with your IDP.
Kelvin
Once you click ‘Log in with browser’ you will be prompted to a login page in your default browser. From there, you can either login using your credentials or use SSO login.
HUE
It is the same as HUE, once you click ‘Log in with browser’ you will be prompted to a login page in your default browser. From there, you can either login using your credentials or use SSO login.
Note:
If you are already logged in in Gamma, once you click 'Log in with browser' from Kelvin or HUE, you will need to log in again.
